Domaine de Riaux

The Domaine de Riaux has been in the Jeannot family for more than 200 years and the current stewards are Bertrand and his son Alexis, both of whom studied oenology in Beaune. They farm 14 hectares of Sauvignon Blanc, some of which is over 50 years old, on flint and marl soils. From this they produce a Pouilly- Fumé of uncommon richness and texture, full of whitecurrant and acacia flavours and one which matures surprisingly well over 5 years in bottle.
