Domaine Odoul-Coquard

This family domaine started in the early 20th century, and owns 8.5 hectares, mostly in Morey and Gevrey and is run by fourth generation Sebastien. In recent years the quality here has surged, and the estate is starting to get the attention it deserves. Sebastien Odoul’s childhood friend Arnaud Mortet was amongst the first to highlight the quality here, and Sebastien is steadily building a reputation for his wines. Having worked at Dujac and Mèo-Camuzet prior to joining his father at the family domaine, each vintage sees a further refinement in style and quality. Sebastien has employed less new oak in 2018, feeling that the structure inherent in the fruit doesn’t require the make-up of new oak.
