Domaine Sauzet

Founded in 1903, this domaine is one of the world’s greatest producers of white wines. Run by Gérard Boudot and his daughter Émilie (Etienne’s great- granddaughter) they have less than 9 hectares of vines, spread over 4 Grand Crus, 6 Premier Crus and Village appellations. The Bourgogne Blanc is fermented and aged in oak, around 10% new, with all the care given to the grander wines. This is one of the finest ‘regional’ wines made and surpasses many producers’ Puligny village wines for depth and finesse.
