Taittinger

Founded in 1734 As Forest-Fourneaux, this Grande Marque was purchased by Pierr-Charles Taittinger in 1931 and is still in the hands of the Taittinger family, currently headed by Pierre-Emmanuel. They own nearly 290 hectares of vineyards from which an elegant style is made. Their top champagne, first made in 1952, is the superb Comtes de Champagne, which is a rich and creamy Blanc de Blancs and one of the finest examples of this style.
