The Cote Chalonnaise is an area of Burgundy that is so often overlooked but without vindication. Located on the cusp of the illustrious Cote d'Or, sandwiched between the Cote de Beaune and the Maconnais lies this region which produces fine quality Burgundy wines without the ambitious price tag. Using all of the traditional grape varieties of Burgundy, the area has gained ground in its reputation.
