Vinous

(a blend of 83% semillon and 17% sauvignon blanc) Enticing pale greenish-yellow color. Knockout nose combines lime leaf, mint and menthol along with a honeyed richness from the semillon and penetrating minerality. Rich and dense on entry, then wonderfully pure and vibrant in the middle palate, with complex, palate-staining flavors of lime, lemon, minerals and mint. The semillon here shows remarkable verve. Outstanding rising finish builds with aeration and goes on and on. This is 13.3% alcohol, with a pH of 3.2 and 4 grams per liter of acidity.

Vinous

Pale color. Nose dominated by honey and resiny oak today. Fat, sweet and full, but with lovely lemony acidity giving shape and lift to the flavors. Saline and earth notes add complexity. Finishes very long.
