2015 Chateau Lanessan, Cru Bourgeois Haut Medoc (12 x Bottle)
The 2015 Lanessan offers black plum, smoke and cedar on the nose. Clean and correct, it is maybe just lacking the flair I was hoping for. The palate is medium-bodied with blackberry and raspberry fruit. The tannins are a little firm at the moment but with decent length. Give this three or four years. Tasted blind at the Southwold 2015 Bordeaux tasting.

Robert Parker Wine Advocate
Medium garnet-purple in color, the 2015 Lanessan has a crushed cherries and warm plums-scented nose with an earthy undercurrent. It’s medium-bodied with pleasant chew to the structure and an earthy finish.

Vinous
The 2015 Lanessan is an attractive, mid-weight wine that will drink well upon release. Dark red cherry, plum and sweet floral notes add to the wine’s open-knit personality and considerable appeal. Tasted two times.

Vinous
The 2015 Lanessan is undoubtedly a pretty wine, but it is also lacking in depth in this vintage. Floral notes add a good bit of lift to the dark red berry fruit in this understated, gracious wine. Drink it over the next handful of years. The 2015 is 58% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 7% Petit Verdot and 7% Cabernet Franc.
