2015 Meursault, Domaine Michelot (12 x Bottle)
Lemon coloured with a nose of butter, lemon curd and minerals. Quite full yet fresh on the palate, with notable minerality and ripe stone fruit.

Vinous
Very pale, bright yellow. Slightly diffuse aromas of lemon, peppery herbs and spicy vanillin oak. Showing a bit more flavor intensity and depth than the Puligny villages but also a distinct lemony edge to its simple fruit. Some free-floating acidity still needs to integrate with the wine. Finishes with a repeating note of sour lemon. A wine of modest texture and concentration; I don’t find the ripeness of the year.
