Bright pale lemon coloured with a piercing nose of white fruits, peach blossom and preserved lemon. The palate is medium bodied, dry and has great intensity of fruit, balanced by mouth-watering acidity. The finish is clean and very long.

Bürklin’s citrus-colored 2015 Riesling Trocken is pretty clear, intense and aromatic on the nose. There are stone fruit flavors, apple and lemon aromas that lead to a round, yet dry and refreshingly piquant palate with nice grip. It’s a well-made wine, though not fully ripe perhaps and surely not one of the finest in this category, because there are a lot of good wines to offer in 2015.
