2020 Ponte Tinto, Herdade do Mouchao
Add to WishlistPonte Tinto is a blend of the indigenous vareties Touriga France, Touriga Nacional and Syrah. Hand-picked grapes are foot-trodden twice daily in the traditional fashion, with fermentation taking place in a large 5,000L lagares with maturati on in a combination of new and old French oak barriques for 24 months. Layers of black fruit, spices and florality typical of Touriga Nacional are present on the nose, with lots of richness and freshness on the palate. Like all the wines fr om Mouchão, the combination of richness and freshness is just lovely.

Tasting notes
A fantastic combination of fresh red berries and ripe dark fruit with dark chocolate richness. Soft and generously texture, with a great level of complexity and concentration.
