The 2023 Ponte Branco from Herdade do Mouchão is 1 00% verdelho, fermented in stainless steel before a time in new French oak barriques to finish fermentation. Some battonage to stir fine lees gives this wine a lovely rich texture that compliments the notes of white flowers and stone fruit. Lively with a delightful vibrancy, the combination of freshness, complexity and concentration is unusual for a white from this region.
